Description et objectifs
Le cours s'intitule "Lexique et cognition". Il s'attache à donner un sens aux parties du discours (noms, verbes, adjectifs, etc.), tout particulièrement à la catégorie nominale. On se demandera pourquoi il existe plusieurs parties du discours et on cherchera à cerner le sens (abstrait) de la catégorie nominale; on s'interrogera sur ce qui fait que le nom diffère de l'adjectif ou du verbe; on se demandera comment le nom catégorise, et en quoi consiste l'opération cognitive de catégorisation.
Pré-requis obligatoires
Ce cours est accessible à tout étudiant intéressé ; son caractère transdisciplinaire (linguistique, psychologie cognitive, philosophie) fait qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir suivi des enseignements de linguistique auparavant. Les notions et termes techniques seront expliqués, développés et discutés au fur et à mesure.
